The Opportunity

GC Enterprises (Wales) Ltd trading as The Furniture Revival help families furnish homes for less through recycling the unwanted or needed furniture of others.

We are looking for help in order to improve donations and partnerships with third party companies that could use us as a resource for their own environmental improvement

The Location

Our furniture reuse facility is based in the upper Rhymney valley. Unit 21 | Lanws Ind est | Rhymney | Caerphilly County | NP22 5PW

In-Kind Support Required

Yes

Type of Support Required

Our social enterprise relies on furniture and electrical donations from homes and businesses within Caerphilly County. There are a number of commercial entities within the county that could use our services to improve their environmental impact through reuse. What’s more is that these services are FREE to use.

More specifically new furniture retailers could use us to help their customers recycle their old furniture. Businesses could use us to recycle old office furniture or kitchen items etc. Hotels, guest houses could use us to recycle their old bedroom furniture. All these items will benefit families on tight budgets.

The benefits here are trifold. Businesses benefit through reduced carbon footprint, customer benefit through more choice, accessibility and stock availability and our social enterprise benefits through increased sustainability which can then be reinvested to improve our services available.

Financial Support Required

Yes

Value of Support Required

Match funding towards a volunteer coordinator.
